Failure to follow the rules will result in a warning. Three warnings, you get your account suspended. Three more warnings after your suspension, you get deleted. Rules are subject to change so it's a good idea to check back here every once in a while (:
NO SPAMMING - It keeps the forum a lot nicer if there is no spamming.
ACTIVITY - We expect our members to be relatively active (on the the site a couple time a week at least). We understand everyone has live out side of Camp-Half Blood. If you're going to be inactive for more than a week, please let us know in the General Chat room there is a board for absences. If you are gone a month with zero activity and no warning, we will delete your account.
REPLIES - No one word replies. It's no fun for other members on the forum if they have to reply to a thread with one word in it. Paragraphs are 3-5 sentences.
NO SLAMMING/TROLLING/FLAMING - Don't make fun of the other members or start a big fight on the site. If there is a problem, please let one of the administrators know and we will work to solve the problem. Failure to resolve conflict will have you deleted.
STEALING - Do not steal any characters. People don't want you just to show up and try to take control of their characters. A severe warning will be given out to all who try to do so.
NO GOD MODING - This basically means you can't be all powerful, so if you get into a fight you can't just say your character wins because they're the best...It’s not fair on others when you fight and you DEFINITELY can't have an attack that is unstoppable because again it isn't fair! Don't take advantage of other people because you supposedly have the greater power etc. To avoid this just say you did your attack, but give your opponent the chance to dodge. It goes both ways however. You do have to get hit sometimes. You can't always dodge an attack.
DO NOT POWER PLAY - This is when you role-play as a character you don't have the right to role-play as. For Example - If someone reads a post saying their character jumped off a cliff because YOU made them do it without permission you can get a warning. Make sure that you don't make your partner do anything that you make them do. Always check with the other user if you're unsure if you're power playing.
CHARACTER CREATION - When creating a Demi-God please use the character application form and pick a God from the list provided. (I'm sure you can find one, there's a tonnes) If you would like to request something special, like a mythological creature be sure to run it by the Admins first.
RATING - This is a 14A website. We allow the use of profanity, it better expresses our points, but please refrain from any member to member name calling. If I see that going on, you will be immediately warned. Sexual themes and violence allowed, but please keep them moderate. If you're going to engage in anything more than making out and mild petting, please place a warning in the topic title.
OOC - When talking out of character please refrain from posting it in the actual roleplays. We have a shout box or you can PM the person you are roleplaying with.
USE LITERACY - This isn't going to be a punishable act, but make sure you spell MOST of your post correctly. There is a spell check button...USE IT! We expect semi-literacy here. Basic grammar rules apply (:
