Appearance: Matty has dark, chopped hair and fair skin that has been tanned by his time in the sun. He stands at about 5'11" and is toned with lean muscle. His eyes are the color of amber and his chest is littered with a few scars from fighting.
Actions of the Mind
Personality: Being one of the older member of the camp, Matty is mature, sometimes beyond his years. He is punctual, precise, calm, and cautious. He is easy to smile but often is quite serious. He takes his responsibilities on without complaint and often has a furrowed brow. Every day is a new challenge and a fight to live. He worries about the future and it shows from his demeanor. He believes the camp is purely to prepare and strengthen as a combative unit. To suggest otherwise would mean extinstion for them all.

Character Story
History: Matty's past is an unfortunate sad tale. His mother fell to Earth, disguised as a human and found his father, a wealthy Japanese business man. They only had one night together and when she came back to drop her son off, his father rejected the small child and called him a monster. Growing up in an orphanage in Tokyo was difficult. He would constantly run away to the countryside. He would always be found at the Shinto temples praying for his mother to come take him away. When he was full of rage he would become so consumed that his hands would combust with the energy of the sun. This was how the orphanage burned down. He spent the next few years on the streets, pick pocketing for a bowl of rice. It was years later that he was recruited and brought to Camp Half-Blood. At camp he was able to reconnect with his mother. She told him that he could not join him in heaven just yet because he had a mission on Earth. War was coming and he needed to protect the youth and children of the Gods.
