Basics
Name: Axel Grady
Chosen Name: Axel, Ax, Ax-man (he doesn't like that last one)
Age: 21
Mythology: Egyptian
Parent: Seth (or Set) god of the desert, storms, violence and evil
Appearance: Axel is thin kind of fit. He has little to no body fat due to his endurance ability. He barely eats. He stand just under 6' at 5'11". His hair is a curly mess of copper sitting atop his head. He doesn't comb it and generally lets it do as it pleases. His eyes are dark mahogany. They appear almost black at first, but under further investigation, you'll see they are a reddish brown. He's so pale he almost glows int he dark, and never tans or burns, no matter how much he is exposed to the sun. He generally wears dark clothing as the heat does not effect him. Axel's body is covered in tattoos. He has his father's name in hieroglyphs across his shoulders, a full sleeve, a pharaoh's head on his neck (the dog breed), and a cobra wrapping it's way around his left leg, it's head rests on his hip bone, right beside his navel.
Actions of the Mind
Personality: Axel's kind of a jerk. He has a cruel sense of humor. When teaching, he often pushes people through teasing and demeaning because he believes it makes them stronger. The Camp doesn't say much about his tactics because in reality, it works. He helps the softies develop thick skins. He's hard to get close to and has a nasty mean streak when he's angry, which is most of the time. You can't really blame him however, look at who his father is. When Axel has a goal he will to anything, and I mean anything to reach it. If he grows attached to you, which is unlikely, he can be very jealous. Those who don't know him often can't handle him for more than half an hour, but that's alright because he is a relatively solitary being.
Character Strengths: Strong sense of self. Thick skinned. Honest (sometimes too honest). Perseveres through almost anything. Determined
Character Weaknesses: Stubborn. Hot-headed. Cruel. Unsympathetic. Lack of empathy. Doesn't know social limits and boundaries.
Additional Information
Physical Abilities: Doesn't need much food or water to survive. Increased stamina. When angry and violent his eyes turn red and he goes into a berserk mode. Unfortunately he blacks out and could possibly unintentionally harm some one he cares about.
Special Abilities: Can create storms. The bigger the storm, the more it drains him.

Character Story
History: Axel's story is pretty tragic and he doesn't share it with many people. His mother died whilst giving birth to Axel. His powers were strong and evident even in the womb. It cause many difficulties with her pregnancy. Seth could care less, he just wanted a child. Especially a son.
She passed away before fully giving birth and the doctors did an emergency c-section to remove Axel. The hospital had no way of contacting a father, so Axel was placed in the child care system. He was tossed in and out of foster homes. None could handle his uncontrollable temper and violent tendencies. Children's Services assigned him multiple psychiatrists, but none could figure out the source of Axel's never ending anger. He struck out on his own at 16, as soon as he was legally able. He spent three years living on the streets. He barely ate or slept, because it wasn't needed. He was mixed up in some gang activity for a while, gaining himself a reputation as some one not to be messed with. He didn't look like much, but there were crazy rumors. If somebody attempted to fight him, his eyes glowed a crazy red and his opponents often ended up dead.
At 19, he ended up in jail. They had no hard proof, but his bail was set high and eye witnesses were many. Miraculously, his bail was paid. This is when he discovered the camp. Well, more like they discovered Axel. The took him in, informing him of what he was and what power flowed through his veins. They taught him control. Seeing a goal and working hard, he made himself a name at Camp Half-Blood. A better name than he had on the streets.
Now he is the endurance coach in his second year.
